Ashiq Hussain, a Pakistani immigrant, fell from a 2nd floor window while attempting to escape a fire in New York. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The FDNY says they've launched an investigation to what caused the ladder failure.

A gas station clerk was killed during a robbery in Lewisburg, TN earlier this week.
