This is the "working rocket launcher" Tate Adamiak was sentenced to 20 years in prison for.
ATF weapons experts added a trigger it didn't have. They then, added a separate USSR training aid firearm he didn't have into the tube then fired a single 7.62x39 round through it to show it was a "working rocket launcher" which it obviously wasn't. Why did they use this rather than an actual rocket? Because there's a giant hole in the side of the tube that was put there to prevent that very thing which is why it was legally imported and sold.
By these rules - any tube could be converted into a "working rocket launcher"
