Idaho police respond to a call and find a 17 year old autistic guy with cerebral palsy with a knife.
The police, seemingly separated from him by the fence, open fire on him as he advanced toward their position.
He's now in the hospital in serious condition.

CZ Scorpion, Surefire Scout on an extended mount, Surefire suppressor, Sig Sauer Romeo 8T red dot.
Took a pretty nasty impact seemingly directly onto the light and the optic.
Light mount (not sure on the brand offhand) ever so slightly bent but was still 100% functional. Optic was scuffed on the corner but that's it.

I got a call about this yesterday but several media organizations are reporting it now so I feel comfortable posting it publicly - Marvin Richardson, the Deputy Director of the ATF (for many, many years...) has been forced to retire.
He's a career tyrant who was the main player behind the "pistol brace rule" and was part of the WACO raid that resulted in over 20 children being burned alive...
This is a good sign....
