Los Angeles deputy was parked at the Paramount Sheriff’s Sub-Station when he heard a banging noise.
The deputy went to investigate the noise and saw 34-year-old Juan Alvarez armed with a machete and walking toward him at a rapid pace.
The deputy exited his vehicle and gave Alvarez commands to get on the ground, but he did not comply. The deputy engaged and the Juan was later pronounced dead.
