Last week I had a viewer tell me he loaded up his truck with generators that he bought in Arizona and attempted to drive to Los Angeles to deliver them to those in need. He said he was stopped by cops at a checkpoint designed to prevent looters and when the police asked what he was doing he told them. They then checked his generators for "compliance" and he was told he couldn't deliver them as they weren't California compliant.
I asked him if he recorded it and he didn't so there wasn't much I could do with it. Well, I was just looking to see if any other reports of this happening were out there and stumbled upon this. Apparently there were so many incidents like the one my viewer experienced that California has, thankfully, realized how stupid that is and has suspended their "generator compliance standards" until June 30, 2025.
