The IDF released footage of a raid into Syria to damage a "rocket production facility" that was built into the side of a mountain. Interestingly the raid was conducted only a few days before HTS took full control of the country and Assad was still in control of the area where the raid took place....
"The facility, codenamed by the military “Deep Layer,” was dug into a mountain at the Scientific Studies and Research Center, known as CERS or SSRC, in the Masyaf area of Syria, west of Hama. The site lies more than 200 kilometers (124 miles) north of the Israeli border, and some 45 kilometers (28 miles) from Syria’s western coastline.
The military says the raid was carried out successfully by the IAF’s elite Shaldag unit, along with the search and rescue Unit 669."

The ATF has proposed a "rule change" that would essentially clarify that if you're traveling, particularly interstate, and stop to get gas/your car breaks down/etc... and you have an item banned in the state where that stop happens then you shouldn't be arrested for violating said "ban state laws."
Well, the democrats are VERY mad about this. Several Senators (the ones you'd expect), sent a letter [FR Doc # 2026-08916 on the federal register if you want to look it up] to the ATF complaining about it and what is the first reason they say they oppose this new rule?

I agree actually with that but this is the first time I can recall democrats saying this (funny how that works). I'll be bookmarking this for future reference when they inevitably call for anti gun "rules" changes in the future.
