1. Apparently he was a trained BJJ fighter showing the importance of knowing how to defend yourself and others.
2. With the "Daniel Penny effect" in full swing world wide I absolutely understand why he set the camera up before intervening.
Several "commentators" were upset that he took a few seconds to set the camera up but in 2024 - makes complete sense to me.
