Home defense situation didn't go as well as the home owner would like.
It serves as a good reminder to train with your equipment. The guy had a weapon light but didn't use it; likely due to stress combined with lack of practice/training.
Also a reminder that long guns are your friend in this scenario and all self defense shootings are Open Class division. RARELY do you hear of someone using one in a home defense situation and missing both shots fired.
