In my last video I discussed what someone who knew what they were doing would do if they were setting up a final firing position or LP/OP instead of sticking the muzzle of a scoped SKS through a fence line.
I stated that either way you'd want to be behind it and either above the top of it or cut a hole in it if you had to/wanted to be lower. A lot of folks asked questions about this so here's an example...
I also mentioned you wouldn't want to be "glassing" with your primary weapon optic if you had the option of a monocular or binoculars.
