reportedly footage of the would be Trump assassin, Ryan Rooth, being arrested in Martin County Florida...
I just saw another media talking head say that a "thermal drone" wouldn't have detected Routh's heat signature in "south Florida temperatures" so I'm uploading this clip for all media outlets to download and use the next time this topic comes up.
This was filmed with a PARD Ocelot 640 (review is coming...) which likely isn't anywhere near as clear (it's also much cheaper) as what the Secret Service would buy with their $3 billion dollar budget.
In the footage:
-I'm about ~78 feet from the optic
-in the shade
-on a sunny day (visible spectrum lighting conditions in the right side photo)
-it was 92 degrees and pretty humid at the time
You can CLEARLY see me glowing in the footage. A drone likely would have been somewhat more obscured but, at an angle, that would be minimized.
Additionally, they make very inexpensive handheld monoculars that agents could use to scan woodlines and other areas that are hard for the human eye to see.
Kamala says she plans on sending in armed agents of the State to "check" on how you store your guns.
Plan/vote accordingly...
“Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn't mean that we're not going to walk into that home and check to see if you're being responsible.”
A lot of folks in the comments of today's video have been asking about felons getting passports. Summary below but, long story short, the vast majority of convicted felons can obtain a US passport once their sentence is done.
1. Guns have almost always outnumbered people in America
2. How's "common sense gun control" working out in the UK? 🤨
"After the second apparent assassination attempt against Donald Trump in two months, gun safety advocates say the episode underlines the perilous political landscape of potentially lethal violence against public officials in a nation where firearms outnumber people"
If what this officer says is true about his interactions with Ryan Routh then that dude has some serious mental issues.
With that aside the officer here describes charging Routh with multiple crimes, including multiple felonies, and still no mention of a jail sentence for any of them...
"Greensboro officer believes drugs caused Routh to unravel during the late '90s"
