One thing that I noticed is this is outside of the fence where we now know multiple local LE had spotted Crooks prior to rounds being fired and you can see that there's not that many people in the AGR building area outside of the fence - maybe 50-75 max.
That makes the fact that all of the LE assets we know were in this very area lost him even more odd. It's one thing to lose a guy in a crowd of 500+. It's another in a crowd this size in an area this small...

General Brown signed a memo directing the USAF to have less white officers only 3 years ago so him being out isn't a surprise.
I think the biggest news of this announcement is the last paragraph directing the SECDEF to (likely through STEP promotions) to nominate 5 additional officers for high level promotions.
Given that the SECDEF has recently issued memos saying the COVID "vaccine" mandate was "unacceptable" but everyone who's read the UCMJ knows they weren't unacceptable, they were unlawful. I'm assuming some attorneys at the pentagon have directed him not to use that word for some reason but it would be a good opportunity to promote the very few senior officers that challenged that unlawful order. If a flag officer doesn't or can't recognize a CLEARLY unlawful order they have no business being promoted much less through the relatively rare STEP promotion process.
That's my $0.02 anyway...
