A lot of folks were asking me about the DPMS rifle the killer reportedly used.
We don't know the model he supposedly used (seen it reported as two different models including the one I reviewed in 2017 - mine was produced in 2016 FWIW) but, generally speaking, that version of DPMS [current company is completely different with different owners/facilities/etc...] produced very cheap rifles that cut corners to meet a price point.
Nothing wrong with that per se, for example, the one I reviewed here was $375 at the time.
Now, the review will likely show, especially accuracy wise, what the gun is capable of with a magnified optic and a reasonably competent shooter. Whether the killers gun had an optic is still unknown as was his skill set.
Why we don't have photos of the actual rifle seems VERY odd to me but that's a topic for another post...

A bunch of senators just sent this letter to the acting director of the ATF.
I know I wasn't the only one saying these things need to happen following President Trump's election but, if I had to bet, whoever wrote this watched my video on his 2A executive order. It itemizes the same issues that were in my video and also calls for the NFA "wait time" to be the same as the background check time which I think I was the only guntuber that specifically pointed out that could easily be done.
I'm not saying this to brag but, I can't lie, it does feel good knowing the message that we put out here is being heard by the people who need to hear it 🇺🇸🦅
