Earlier today, according to initial reports, a homicidal killer pulled up to the splash pad in Rochester Hills, Michigan and opened fire with a semi auto pistol into the crowd of unarmed Americans.
He reportedly conducted at least two slide lock reloads before departing the scene. While we can never prove a counter-factual, it seems clear that if an armed citizen was present they would have been able to return fire and minimize causalities.
Rochester Hills is a pretty nice town just proving why we carry everywhere. You never know when you'll be your own first responder...
