Unfortunately #UNLV is a "gun free" zone so people were legally unable to defend themselves and that likely caused unnecessary deaths and injuries.

The the shooter is reportedly in custody and Charlie's condition is unknown at this time.

I think all states need to pass legislation that increases the penalty for assault when a person continues to punch/kick/hit a person who is clearly knocked out and unconscious.
