NC's Democrat governor vetoed a bill that would end the Jim Crow law that requires NC citizens to get a "pistol purchase permit" (i.e. show up to the Sheriff's office to prove you're not black) because Democrats love racist gun laws in 2023.
But... the NC Senate can override the veto. If you're a NC resident call/email your reps and let them know that requiring a permission slip (that requires a fee for every gun...) to buy a handgun is unacceptable today 🇺🇸
