According to the FBI's statistics, only 3.5% of homicides in 2019 (most recent broken out version I could find...) were committed with rifles OF ANY KIND [i.e. including a good percentage of bolt/lever actions].
This doesn't fit the narrative though; hence why most don't know this and believe "assault rifles" are what most killers use. It simply isn't so and it never has been...
