Basic overview: it triggers a criminal investigation for all "failed" (over 95% of them are false positives) NCIS checks when a law abiding citizen (95%) tries to buy a firearm. What could happen after that is the big problem. Lawyers fees, entrapment by LE, etc... all over legally attempting to buy a firearm 🧐
