18 Republican senators voted for this bill that is atrocious on multiple levels including unconstitutional gun control. Basic overview: it triggers a criminal investigation for all "failed" (over 95% of them are false positives) NCIS checks when a law abiding citizen (95%) tries to buy a firearm. What could happen after that is the big problem. Lawyers fees, entrapment by LE, etc... all over legally attempting to buy a firearm 🧐

It's certainly not a "gun safe" but it's 100% better than nothing at all & has built in points to anchor it in a wall or bolt it to the floor. Either of those options will deter almost all smash and grab criminals.
